Just hit it a few times with a fire spell. I hit it about 10 times before I killed it. Kinda disappointing.
yeah thats the one,i've not bothered with the magic,main weapons i like are the elven bow/freeze bow/poison bow & a sword.only spell i realy use is heal,telecenesis & the see in the dark one.
im a bit of a pyro cause i cant help but bung all the dead bodies on the fires or throw em off cliffs,or jump throwing em like basketballs onto higher up spike lol,love ragdoll physics in games,adds for some fun moments.

one thing,when you free'd the girl & headed to the portal did she tend to go nuts & try getting herself killed.
did on me,had to keep telling the dumb bitch to hang back while i clear the way.
one minute she was behind me while  took out a few of those fireball throwin wizard blokes,next i turn round & she was burnt to a crisp on the floor,so restarted the section to make sure she lived,thaught i might get few bonus points out of it lol.

also had a few WTF moments,set fire to a guy up on a cliff,but instead of falling dead his body went crazy flying around the screen like the old dodgy aa missiles on bf2.

The fire spell costs like one ability point. It's one of the first spells you can get.
I cleared the rest of the area of enemies before I went to get her. She's only good for healing, and that's not really important if you have a ring of regeneration. Er, not that an assassin would ever need healing.

The only thing which have made me reload, and I mean reload alot, are those darn fast ghouls which rip your spleen out before you've even drawn a weapon. Or, those platforms you have to reach with the rope-bow...
Which reminds me. Right after I got out of that spider crypt, out on the mountain side, I spotted a person far, far away. Well, finally getting a chance to use my bow-o'-freezing, I carefully aim, taking note of arrow-drop, and fire. Arrow flies several seconds... BAM! Right in the head. Person is frozen. Yay, onto next arrow, and-.... GAME OVER!
I shot a friendly NPC. What gives, the first time I actually hit with a long range shot, it's a friendly.

In comparison, I bought it for 340DKK/~58USD/~30GBP

most my restarts was cause of those ghouls as well,plus from trying to climb up to pointless'ly high places tryin to find all the secret areas with the rope bow,then ending up falling to my death.
one rope bow section i must've restarted about 10 times was in those dodgy buildings stuck to the side of a cliff in one section,one of them you get inside & theres loads of goodies at the far side & some armor.walked over to get em & the bottom of the building collapses.

i completed it last night ,seen 2 different endings as well by loading the last save game & taking the other option to see the alternate ending.

one tip for anyone who wants a sweet bow dealing about 9 damage (plus 18 damage on undead).

at some point your gonna get the option to do something to get rid of the woman out your head,if you do it you get rewarded with the best bow,some daggers,a sword. all good for killing the undead.

if like me you never bother using the special ability you get,then i'd say trade her in for the extra weapons.

good game,i've enjoyed playing through it.
time to complete fear extraction point then nfs carbon for me.
