I load bf2 and at the bottom i see the 2142 logo instead of the red 2, for sf its red 2

Look at the windows startbar when u load bf2 and autorun is on.
Ok, i will explain it. You place the disc inside the drive, it reads it and 10 secs later, a window pops up, 'Play online now' Start BF2. Look at the bottom of the bf2 autorun window, it has 2142's logo. Last time, it was a red 2.

On the windows taskbar (that bar that's been there since Windows 95) you see the 2142 logo instead of the red 2, apparently.

I think people who have bf2 and 2142 experience it as well, if u dont believe me, fire it up with autorun enabled and before u hit play online now or start bf2, look down.

I've booted up my game three times and saw no such thing.

i have seen some ppl of the exact opposite happening, as in bf2142 would have the big red 2 logo in its startmenu bar. that alteast can be explained through fact that they share the same game engine.
