BF2S Forums Time to find another forum ?

Since the departure of a well-known "Nazi-mod", the censorship on these forums is not too bad. A few threads are closed without real justification, but that's a drastic improvement from the summer.

I don't really know what you are talking about ... apparently a thread got closed ... but just take it up with the moderator who closed it.  There's sometimes a misuderstanding, and I've seen many threads opened back up after some dialog.

I have no intention of 'taking it up with a moderator'.  The implication of doing so is almost
laughable.  Like I stated, forums are supposed to be open.  After review I see no rules of this
forum stating that posts of a negative nature towards bf2142 are unacceptable.  So, apparently,
the rules here are whichever way the wind is blowing, and of course which one of the 800 moderstors
doesnt like your post and closes it.

totalbf2.com is the king of censorship. Almost to the point where one believes that they are
paid by EA to thwart any negative comments.  EA is well known to be the most controlling
game publisher on the market.  This forum is getting to be the same way.  I have no use for
it any longer and rarely visit it.  I posted a message 2 hours ago about my dislike of 2142 compared
to BF2 and within 5 replys it was closed.

Personally, I think the head admin for this entire site should take a hard look at who is moderating
their forums around here.  Oh well.

Heres the thing, moderators..

People play this game... They like something about it... Or they dont like something about it..
They come to their favorite forum to post about it..  As much as YOU would like them to
filter through 80000 posts to make sure nobody else hasnt already posted their remark,
THEY DONT.  They post their comment and move on.  If I had a dime every time I heard
or seen a moderator and admin complain about a harmless double posted topic, I'd have
Donald Trumps money.  Get real.

and btw, I dont speak all that 'zomg 2142 is teh gh3y' jibberish.  I leave that to the kids who
think that impresses someone.

Exactly. In the demo, all of the 2142 threads had at least one jerk who though it would be "cool" to say 2142 sucks. "BF2 IS BETTAR!!!!" "2142 SUCKS ANYWAY WHO CARES LOL"

Suppose someone wanted to discuss an inbalance with the support gun accuracy. It would then get bashed with "2142 SUX!!!! WHY PLAY THEN WHEN WE GOTS BF2?!"

i bought 2142 and i enjoy as much if not more than BF2, thanks.

Hmm. I found a few rules that pertain to your previous post.

4. Positively contribute to the forums with useful posts and information relevant to the section being posted under.

Oh another I hate 2142. I fear change thread. *squish* Maybe if you had something positive to say. Perhaps possible solutions that EA could concider to fix these issues you have with the game. Nah, is easier to just rant.

Personally I think you need to take a step back a look at what you are getting so worked up about. This is a forum for a video game. Here, I will say it again. This is a forum for a VIDEO GAME. If you go to another forum no one here will care.

You broke three of the forum rules posting your original post.

It's not constructive

Then a forth by posting this thread. I don't see what you have to be mad about. This has nothing to do with censorship. Nothing to do with favoritism towards EA. I think someones pride just got hurt.
