Ok, here goes. On the demo when I clicked on the print screen buttom it takes a screenshot or that's what I think it does.
But when I check the screenshot file it takes 0 KB and got NOTHING on it.

Ok, so I thought this was a bug in the demo and head to the full version which I bought on day of release for 499 Sek. Worth it all.
Just recently I tried to take a screenshot to but it to turns up with 0 KB jpg file.

So is there anything you could do about it?

I got like a 3.4 GHz with 1 GM RAM(Gonna get more) and a Geforce 6800. I can run the game on high but I will have to endure some longer loading times so I keep some on high and the rest on medium.

So what can I do to make my printscreen work? And it's only in BF2142 and possible BF2 where it only takes a blank picture.

And no I don't have a crack version of this game.

don't know what to tell you. open up 2142, go to controls, check if your screen shot key is assigned to the print screen button or something. thats the best i can come with, but anyways good luck.

*sigh* Did you even read?

When I used the print screen which I havn't assinged to any other key nor have I changed it. When I used it BF2142 stops up for a breif 1-2 second to take a picture. This picture takes 0 KB in the place where all BF2142 screenshots goes.

It's nothing about not binding a function to a key but the function doesn't work for me but for some people it seems to work fine. So I wonder how I can get it working.

Well I found a way to work around it. I downloaded a free program called "Goleta" and with it I can take screenshot whenever I want without any problem. The files saves to like 5 diffrent type which are the normal ones. You can also place where all the files should be placed to. It will give the files a random name unless you wanna give them a specefic name but then you need to rename it every time. So auto naming is working fine but it looks like a long CD-key.

Use fraps for screenshots, it always works.

Or you could just use XFIRE

Well Goleta works just fine so I'm sticking with it and I don't wanna use XFire either. Got it and didn't like it.

Just use FRAPPS... is the best, you can record yourself, take screen shot, get FPS ans lots more... and you can have a free demo (limited to a 30 seconds clips...

Your problem might be due to AA, since I remember Silent Hunter III had problems for some people trying to take screenshots when AA was enabled.  I have no idea if it causes problems in BF2142, but...
It sounds like you have a better (i.e. no pausing) alternative now, but you might want to disable AA (if you even have it on) and see if that makes the screenshots work.
