The BF series needs a "Die with dignity" button when you are critically wounded. How many times have you died but wanted a new kit, or to spawn on your squad leader? Or how many times did you get kidnapped? How many times did you get killed .1 second after you were revived because the medics didn't kill the enemies? how many times did you waste 2 minutes dead because of that happening?

Just the other day I was on Jalalabad as USMC. We were rushing the fountain, but I was rushing and out of bounds. I just didn't notice because I was focused on the action. I almost got back in bounds once I noticed but died at the border. A medic kept reviving me and I'd die immediately because I was out of bounds. It was uncool to say the least.

I know it won't ever happen, especially in BF2, but I think of this idea everytime I die after I get a bad revive.

Oh, and I wish medics would stop laying down on me to revive me. That's just gay. And necro. Necrohomophelia. I don't need your e-crotch on my screen/face.

Best idea ever? Oh, I think so.

I usually just run passed them and revive on the way. Proning just makes you a target for snipers.

And yeah, if you get kidnapped, it's called "Suicide".

O noes, you lose -2 points. You can make that by killing one enemy.

I wasn't complaining and I especially wasn't whining. The suicide button is good if you can get to it in time, but more often than not you can't. I was thinking there should be a button right under "You are critically wounded."

As for reviving, why would you stop moving? everytime I kill a medic that's reviving someone, they lay down and I wait for them to revive and I get two kills instead of one. You've got to stay moving. I'd say almost 100% of my revives as a medic don't get killed because they're aiming for me as I'm moving and I don't stop.

I believe there is one, it's called suicide. You can call it up by hitting the "enter" key in game. However, it will give you negative two points on your score.

can you bind commands onto keys in BF2? If you could , some one can skew the code for the suicide key and bind it to a certain key so you dont have to press enter >_>.....it helps during kidnappage

whats to explain there, just press the right mouse button so you cant be revived anymore. the spawnmenu will pop up and you can select a new spawnpoint

What is wrong with getting repeatedly revived/killed? You aren't dying and getting deaths added to your score...that only happens when you respawn. If you're out of ammo or hoping to swtch kits, then yes..do the suicide.

erm, there is another way to stop people statpadding you. DO NOT PRESS THE FIRE BUTTON AFTER YOU ARE CRIITICALLY WOUNDED. that way, they can't reveive you and their little statpaddign session is over.
