This bothers me the most, people who play squad leader of a full squad (normally alpha or beta) and don't have any squad leader gear, or assign orders. Pass leader to me, I'll do it.doctastrangelove1964 wrote:
Another, if you are a squad leader and you don't have the SLSB than please get it with you first field upgrade.
It is that uncertainty that causes a lot of those problems.gbr.hitman wrote:
If you are the pilot in a transport ship please don't just jump out, I have seen many times when some people just fly towards a silo then jump out to leave the ship to crash! This is just lame because you kill all the people who are in the ship and the ship is an extra spawn point, so if you die before capping the silo you can spawn back there to finish the job off!
1. The air transport should *never* touch ground basically. That is why it is actually equipped with landing pods. If the pilots would be thankful for driver ability and kill assists, forget about flag/silo capping points and would just keep the bloody thing high enough for the passengers to pod our bail out and only go low to let them back in, there'd be a whole lot less problems.
2. After dying in one of those babies three times in a row, because the pilot decided to wave at the guys in the enemy titan's air defense, look at trees and rocks in close up or bail out to grab the walker below and let his 5 passengers become one with the burning transport wreckage, I will for sure jump out when close enough to a reasonable spot. Bad luck for the pilot if he decides to bring the thing down then. I usually don't punish for such things though and instantly hit "Page Up".
3. When flying one of them, I usually give the "bail out" order when the thing is about to blow or I want them guys to cap flags, but a majority of them seems not to care or not understand why someone constantly shouts "bail out! bail out! bail out!"
Again: that is not what the air transport is made for. Its best defense is mobility. In the air, no one can put RDX on it, it won't trigger motion mines and tanks or ground defense turrets will have a harder time hitting it.gbr.hitman wrote:
If you are a passenger in a transport ship please wait for it to land fully before jumping out, I see some people who jump out just before it lands and it crushes them, resulting in a team kill!
The only place where an airtransport might belong except for its own flight deck or a helo pad to repair is the enemy titan to act as mobile spawnpoint.
If I walk close enough to the console and take the time to spread 3 to 4 packs on it, retreat and yell "Go! Go! Go!" 2 times and the guys around still keep shooting instead of falling back, I don't feel guilty for them dying. They see what's going on, they get a warning and time to retreat and still insist on trying to grab the points for a destryoed titan console, exposing the whole bunch to enemy fire longer than obviously necessary... fuck them. Had they brought and placed the RDX, they'd get the destruction points and I would retreat without hassling.gbr.hitman wrote:
When attacking the titan please don't just put C7 on the consoles and reactor then pull the trigger! Have a look around you and see if there are any team mates there because the blast radius is huge and you will end up team killing everyone who is near!
Whatever gets the job done is fine with me.
A bullet in the head for every idiot that moves along passing a well placed energy shield just so he is in the first line of defense - and within grenade range from the entry to that corridor - and thereby makes it impossible for me to shoot from behind my cover because I might hit him, resulting in my death because I couldn't see shit in the cloud of bodies and smoke where just two of my fellow smurfs stood...gbr.hitman wrote:
Attacking and defending the titans can get a bit crowded, especially in the narrow corridors, but please stop walking in front of people's fire paths, I have lost count on how many team kills I have seen from people doing this!
A bullet in the head for every idiot that blindly places Sentry drones all over the place making it impossible to move anywhere in front of the back energy shields that separate corridors and flight deck section.
That is something I can agree with.gbr.hitman wrote:
To get to the point please use your brain when playing and stop acting like a bunch of dickheads!
Proud member of a dead community.
And the so called "frendiles" on the titan guns, often i have been blown up just for getting close to the enemy.
