Yeah, I was reading your death streak, sorry lol

his point is that at some point he must have gotten the required amount of kills based on the fact that his kill streak was higher than 18.

do what ryan said.  sometimes ranked servers are just dumb.

W00t? This can´t be right.

I remember when I got that ribbon. It was early in my BF2 career, when I was a PFC. I earned my Pistol Combat badge, The Combat Action Ribbon, and a Gold Star as a Sniper that round. It was on Dalain plant. Good times, good times.

uhm...how has noone else noticed that you don't meet the requirements?  you have to have 50 hours of game play!   you have 38 hours.  the other requirement you failed to mention is the no teamkills/damage/vehicle damage IAR. (in the same round as your 14 kills)  all these requirements have to come after you meet the 50 hours of game play required.  (except the kill streak).

Don't be an ass. First of all, if you're gonna point out a flaw in someone else's post, make sure you're correct. I was talking about the Combat Action Ribbon and the Meritorious Unit Ribbon. If you check the requirements, you'll find that you don't have to have 50 hours of playing time for either one. My mistake sorry.  If it was clear which ribbon he had meant a mistake wouldn't have been made.  I thought that he was talking about the 'good conduct ribbon'.  As it turns out it was the Combat ACTION ribbon.  A mistake was quite simple to make in this case i think.

Try getting some/all of the kills using an infantry weapon, even though it shouldn't matter. You meet the requirements, so its hard to determain what might be wrong, (and you don't need 50 hours play for this either) so... play on EA official.

There might also be a glitch/problem concerning the fact you might have met the requirements for it, uh, as well as getting 18 in a round at the time which may have caused it, kinda like the Basic Pistol/Vetran Pistol problem that occured (which was later fixed by EA), this may be one of the unnoticed ones, I don't know, but if all else fails, thats what I would consiter a possibility.

You understand that I typed this wrong and meant the Comabt Action Ribbon not the Good Conduct Ribbon as I stated in my first post.  Here is what I found concerning the ribbon requirements:

Combat Action Ribbon
   

Awarded to recognize active participation in ground or air combat

    * IAR: 18 kills
    * Global: 10 Best kill streak


I had, as stated before, a kill streak over ten.  Then I got 19 or so kills in a round (all of them being in a row--which could be the problem) then again recently I got 23 kills in a round.  I am still confused.

The servers I play on most often are a 24/7 Karkand (there website is www.dub-land.com) and one of the www.sasklan.com servers and another 90% Karkand server.

hey thats fine we all make mistakes.  I had trouble in the first place trying to type the name of the ribbon.
