If you love history, moreover WWII, You must play WWII Online. Been playing for 5 years, it's just awesome.

I posed this on a thread, however it deserves it's own.

*Warning, if you game cannot run BF2, don't even try to play. Imagine 500 and more players in and around a town. It can get laggy if you not running a good setup*

Also it's very very realistic. One shot and you dead. You can spend 30 minutes finding a spot and die a minute later. If you into the fast pace shoot em up games like BF2, this is not for you. It's a lot of patient's and tactics with crazy all out battles from land sea and air.

You can be a grunt(Rifleman, Sniper, Sapper, LMG, SMG, AT, Paratrooper, drive / gunner a tank, resupply, fighter, bomber, AT, AAA, Navy, you name it.

Also these guys at cornered rat software accrual went to the US war department, France, Brittan, and Germany to get the original drawings, specs, and blueprints for every piece of equipment in the game. Everything is to scale. You just cannot beat that type of realism.

Sorry no, most everyone who plays are an older group because you don't ge that instant satisfaction that seems to only keep todays "Youth" interested in anything for more then 3 minutes (Or however long a round of Karkand last's).

There is no swearing (You can, no one does).
People are respectful (You can be a douche, no one is).
No trash, talking shit, or leet speak (It is played by adults).
Lots of teamwork and cooperation (You can solo, it's no fun)

Most "Kids" will play and hate it, which is fine by me, keeps the comunity to an older group. So for us old farts, it's a blast.

And for anyone who is into WWII, the historical accuracy off everything is pretty damn cool.

If anyone needs help in game, send me a message. I will be glad to help.

Pretty damn good for having to render a 1/4 scale of Europe and 10k online players in the same map at any given time.

I can quit litteraly, start auto walking in France towards Germany, leave my computer on a week, and assuming I do not run into anything or get killed, not make it half way across the map.

If you can run BF2 without problems you are fine. It can be very taxing on your comp because, well, read above. It needs to draw alot.

Yes you can, however only you will die. No FF, which weeds out the schmucks (Thank god).

No real need for FF, like above, you don't get a lot of guys in one spot. There is to much space and it's not really smart. A JU-87 can drop a 500lb and kill everyone, gotta spread out (Tactics).

If you are into (Turn on comp, load up game, soot someone over and over, turn of comp) then this is not for you.

It a FPS, but you need to think, cannot go out guns blazing or you will have a short game. Yes there are battles were you can paratroop into town and it's a street to street fighting, however most of the time it positioning, sneaking, waiting for the best shot.

It's realistic as much as it can be for a game.

Still hands down the best MMPOG out there as far as realism. A lot of people do not like it because they just don't have the patience for it.

To each there own. I know there are a lot of people on here that would love it though.

There is no FF for the reason(s) posted above. It keeps the ass hats out.

Again, I have never heard someone bitch piss moan complain ever. If having a fun time gaming and no FF keeps the tards out, Np.

If you do not play, you cannot bitch about the no FF. Trust me, even if there was FF, the chances of you FF someone is extremely slim.

If your computer can handle it, it's free to try. Give it a shot and then bitch if you do not like it.

BTW, make sure the option "Dynamic effects" and suppress flashes is unchecked to see the muzzle flashes and projectiles. They are there. You can see incoming and out going rounds in a tank battle.
