I don't remember exactly most likely on a gaming website, so I voted ads.
My friend told me about 1942, so I bought it. I got addicted to the series and I bought BF2 as well.

I played bf1942 and loved DC, so when bf2 came out, voila

From my friend, I played quite a long singleplayer and demo, after I took that game from biblary(for free ) and started to play it! Joined clan, didnt like it, left...cd left with me, so I play it

Other. I read a cover story about it in Computer Gaming World magazine and was hooked.
In my opinion, i'd say that most people found out about battlefield throught theri friends. thats how i found out about it.
I actually found out about it at Best Buy. I was shopping for a new camera when out of being bored I decided to check out the computer section. I saw some kids playing this game and it looked pretty amazing, nice graphics and all. When he left I sat myself down and tried it out. It looked pretty cool and I decided to get it.
my friend homekeys gave it to me for christmas 2005. I became addicted and need help.
I learnd of BF2 when my mothers daughter's son's dad told me about it
