I have been looking ever since i read the qualification for a pin and one of the medals (possibly a badge too) for a guide saying what you get points for in 2142. I have found how to get the others, but have so far not recieved any titan air drop points although i have tried all the sorts of things i can think of that may qualify. It is probably going to be something ridiculously easy, but please can someone tell me what it is?

I have done this loads, but it never gave me any points for it.

I believe this is where you fly one of the tranports over the enemy Titan and your passengers use the pods to drop onto the Titan. Try it and see what you get with that.
Yeah... probably something to do with Titan-mode commanders or assault pods (there are pods on the Titan, transport airships, and APCs). Try this stuff out a bit.
I've been told that it is, as toxin says, you have 10 people pod in from the transport you are hovering over.

I tried that for ages and it didn't work, I hovered over their titan, they spawned and nothing much happened. Probably dropped near 20 people off the transporter onto the titan while trying to get the 15 mins required for some aircraft ribbon or badge.[RDH]Warlord wrote:

I think you use the SLSB.
you have to pod out of a transport ship. the pilot doesnt get the air drop points, they get driver ability points. you need to be the person who is dropping in a pod. sometimes you dont always get a point for this though, probably because of the shitty coding with the titan.

Now I ain't seeing that happening any time soon.. :-S What fool would hover long enough for you to pod yourself onto the Titan for 10 times + taking the risk of being mowed down by those spraying gattling canons?
The damn pilot should earn a ribbon or something for doing that!

I have the pin.... What you do is get a transport and hover over the titan, 10 people must spawn on you and pod onto the titan... then you (the pilot) get a pin.

that cant be right, ive hovered the transporter over the titan and had at least 15 people pod out onto the titan
It works for sure you don't even have to drop passengers, if you have one guy in who switches positions constantly you will see your points raising up like crazy, it's an other glitch. But the titan shields have to be down.burton wrote:

Does it have to be over the titan, or can you fly around and drop people over flags/silos?

can the AA titan guns reach directly above them ( 90 degrees)? Couse then you can just hover directly over the centre of the titan and not get pwned.
