I installed BF2142, and installed the patch from EA-link, it didn't work so I uninstalled BF2142 after some advice I found on this forum, and I was going to reinstall. When I did reinstall, the game wouldn't launch because it says it is missing the shortcut BF2142.exe. I tried reinstalling and uninstalling and then reinstalling but it still won't work, what do I do??
uninstall then..... joke if it says it cant find battlefield 2142.exe you need to go to were you installed the game and make a new shortcut with right click, send to, desktop, and all should be happy and sweet.......

Ok, I Just tried that, but it just makes a shortcut to the folder now instead of running the game??
i have the same folder, and doing the send to desktop doesnt do anything. i looked through the files and BF2142.exe IS FUCKING GONE?!?!?!?!?!?!?! so, when i install the patch, then it doesnt work, so i uninstall, my DVD is useless, yay 50$ down the drain, gg EA, i shoulda just got a hooker.
