I hope its like bf2 but with less bugs maybe 2010 or something. I wouldnt mind a 1980's 2010 really or 2nd world war but i hate futuristic games.
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

Star Wars would be nice, but Lucasarts is unlikely to purchase DICE from EA.
I think semi-futuristic would be nice - maybe 2042. I'd like a focus on naval warfare as well.
they should just re do bf2 and listen to what the public wants in a fps game before making it

I think like a crusades game would be cool. You could be like Infantry with a sword, mace, lance, or long bow, or vehicles like horses and camels for jeeps, and ballistae, trebuchet, onagers, and catapults for tanks. ssince it lacks the arial battles and the tallest buildings are maybe 4 or 5 stories, there would be ton less lag. Then there could be conquest like normal, and sieze the castle mode.

I wonder where they call pull the series now. They've gone steadily forward in time, so jumping back to WWI or the Korean War or whatnot would make no sense.
No; I frankly hope the series is over with this game and that the only other games that will come related to Battlefield will be expansions.

I would like to see Battlefield:1916
I think you could make use of technology and show us what WWI was really like. And also would take skill to shoot someone because of the guns in that era.
Maybe even Battlefield 3 : The Falklands??

I'm answering this one with not sleeping for the past 30 hours so please bear with me:
Modern -- maybe they can add another unlock of terrorist/kid-napper mode. Unlock of a tranquilizer gun and then opposing team gets point for "freeing the hostages". Maybe a trade function so hostages can be exchanged.

You better let EA handle the BF2 as they already do because the public can screw any games they want.
