Is 2142 easy to rank up?

I don't have ti yet, but I keep seeing these guys with thousands of points already.

It must be easy to get points, right?

So I play about 1.5 hours a day (3-4 days a week) and get about 70-80 points in bf2, sometimes over 100 if I'm having good days.

I should rank up pretty fast than on 2142, since the score system is cut in half and the ranks require low amounts of points, correct?

I just hope they don't change the requirements in a patch down the road.

points can be hard to get though even if you are having a good day, unlike bf2.

it is when you get 5 awards (badges, ribbons) for the second time including 2 vets like it just did

= +- 1200 points

Can someone tell me how many points you get for getting a badge/ribbon/pin/medal?

for me i got 10k points after 25h of playing including badges and careerpoints.

Bronze 20-40
Silver 500
Gold 1000

Ribbons have different points but they go from 20-2000 points depending on wich one you get. Then you can check www.bf2142fever.com and look at the side where it says ribbon ranks unlocks and so

oh well, i have about 150 more points till i rank up, then i can just get 2 more more silver badges and rank up again, its pretty sad, i have more points in BF2142 than BF2. I guess it really is easy to get points

Yea it is. first round i got promoted. Second orund i got promoted twice XD

And if your good at Bf2 you won't have any troubles getting points and ranks in 2142. I've been playing for a weekend aalready have 7501 points and am Seargent major of the army.
