I want semi-futuristic, around the time when Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter takes place.
Modern is coming out soon. It's called Battlefield: Bad Company, and is coming out for PS3 and X360. I believe its set a few years in the future.
So I doubt they'll do that on PC.

There's nothing left for them to do. Anything else would be cliched. It might be like BF2, but with an engine overhaul. They've hit past present and future though, there's no new territory to blaze and still have a Battlefield feel.

I want to take people down with fire arrows. It would be awesome! Hit someone with a fire arrow in the chest, then there's a cool animation of them screaming and running around on fire until they eventually fall over and turn into a pile of ashes.
Or......have it possible to cut off whatever limbs your aiming for. You could cut off someones leg first(and they're still alive but can only crawl around) and then you come back around with the full decapitation to finish them off.

They should do one big Battlefield including the vietnam, WW2, gulf, wars. Like Bf1942, Bfvietnam, Bf2 together with next gen graphics.
Have 4 maps for each different pack, have there own different unlocks etc. Hope you guys can see the same picture I've got. So on a map rotation, you could relive a battle in Vietnam, then next map could be in WW2 etc.

I think it will be called Battlefield. no other title. just battlefield. cuz it will be the "best" of the series.
Here is what im thinking. New GFX engine. improved gameplay styles. but essentially game.

2142 is the last of the series from what i've read... EA is working on a BF MMORPG that you can play like WOW... the battles never end... you just jump in and play... and im sure there will be a monthly fee... lol

BATTLEFIELD 2 REMAKE called Battlefield 1.12 . With more unlocks, less bugs, even jets, better graphics, and less noobage like not being able to shoot claymores and blowing them up. So basicly what all of the battlefield patches should have done.
I would like either WW1, WW2, or 1980-2042 range.
I think Battlefield: Civil War would be pretty kickass.
