Prehistoric would be a cool novelty, kind of like Pirates was for BF1942...
Of course there would be the T-Rex whores (armor) and the Terradaktal whores (air)... but that will happen with anything..
Personally, BF2 has plenty of room for expansion, why not just stay in current times and start a new team of North Koreans? or something like that.

2142 is great, but I'd like to see a game with all the current "next gen" weapons (M8,G36[yes I know],F-22,some kind of new tank I don't know the name of)
Obviously I'd like to see the return of high speed attack jets, not having them in 2142 is fine even refreshing, but I'd like to see them back for BF3(5?). Along with jets choppers are a must, but I'd like to see the flight model bumped up a little, currently any blind koala bear could fly a jet in BF2. I'd like to see a flight model (for both jets and choppers) that means that anyone can jump in and do the basics, but if you want to evade missiles effectively/take down your opponents quickly etc etc then it will take skill, balance of the jets is also important.
Another thing I'd like is to make it possible to select different armaments for the jet, obvious one there is torpedo's, maybe carrying these giant things will slow you down, maybe you will have to cut down on the amount of MG ammo you are carrying. If you wish to take that one further you could be offered the choice of two MG's, a larger slower firing but far more damaging one, or a rapid fire less damaging one. Maybe you could carry a few more missiles but at the cost of reduced speed. Obvious problem here is no-one is going to want to sit on a runway and set all of this out, basic solution would be pre-sets.
Can we have a navy, please please please?? I miss the naval combat (if rather basic) of 1942, bring it back, give commanders the control of the carrier, allow people to pilot the destroyer and fire the big guns. Give them respectable air defence but don't make them fortresses of doom.
Blending the feel of the infantry combat to a level between 2142 and BF2 would be perfect in my eyes. The HUD of 2142 is nice, it provides you with plenty of useful information, maybe we could have netbat 0.1 built in for squads.

BF2 is in the C&C Generals era. They both have US and China, and Generals' GLA is the same as MEC in BF2 except the MEC don't dig tunnels or have suicide bombers.Fenix14 wrote:
