here in Holland i know of a site where someone has cracked a CD with all of the phone numbers of Holland on it. normally it is not possible to do a reverse search but now it is...
type a number and it'll show the address... pretty nifty in case some kid is calling your number all the time.

no, i lost my phone, the battery is still working, so if i can trace throught my phonenumber where the phone is... i was drinking last night... and yes there is a way for everything, but anyone know the way to this prob?
i dont need to know the addres of the phone owner, because thats me, i need to know where the phone is, when u call it it contacts to the closest what ever its called, and throught that u can trace the location of the phone.... i thinkE1_ned wrote:

I guess police can do it, or maybe the phone company. But if I remember correctly there has to be 3 antennas near it (or at least 2 to get even close) to get the coordinates

try calling later on the day... when the bars open.. it's hopefully behind the counter at the lost and found...
calling now is useless... the bar's owner is propaby still in bed hung over....
locating the phone using the signal and try and triangulate its location???? not very accurate and the provider wil not help....

rescue providers can trace your cell phone call to the closest tower to your cell phone... and if they have two towers for reference they could damn near pinpoint you, if you got drunk and lost your phone, that sucks your provider cant tell you where it is either, but they will shut it off for you, so no one can use it

Um, its kinda pointless now but if it ever arises again, you can't trace a phone, if its a mobile which it is, it could be anywhere, but if you ring, it just rings, you have to answer it or it can't be traced. Best way if you know it might happen again, is get it chipped, then you yourself can trace it whenever you want
your mobile phone needs to contact/find his correct provider in that process the provider(s) can know where your phone is. not on the cm, more like the 10 meter.Nutter130 wrote:
