I do not wear in that situation because, in case I bail out in some random location, I need to RUN ALL THE WAY to some location to get into another vehicle. Body Armor is not useful against ARMORS (Tanks, APCs, Battle Walkers) anyway.Major.League.Infidel wrote:

WHen defenDing or attAcking i were heavy armor but when armore whoring mech whoring or just capping silos i dont b/c id rather be able to run away faster from a tank then aly get 1/3 of the way behind somthing befor i die> and when i snipe i herd a mith that light armor reduces sway
I never use body armor because I use sprint a lot, plus you get less giant orange "shoot me" parts of the EU uniform.

i always wear heavy armor except at the very start of city maps like gibralter so i can run fast and try and get the mech

I hate armour. Nothing worse than sprinting to cover but getting shot because you run out of sprint. I never get sniped, and a couple of AR rounds would do me no advantage. I never wear armour, even as support on the titan. It gives you no protection against explosives, doesn't help you from being run over, and just makes you a sitting duck in the open fields of Verdun or Minsk.
There's nothing better than spotting an enemy when they haven't seen you, you sprint after them, then they sprint away, and even after they stop you are still sprinting to catch up to them and knife them.

I don't wear body armour when playing recon because a). It slows me down and b). It doesn't provide much of an advantage when you are faced with enemies at point blank range.
Depends what I'm doing. If I'm Recon I generaly don't have it on, I need to run for quite a while to get behind people and I'm generally on foot whilst Recon anyways, (I'm generaly on foot anyway unless I can catch a lift with someone.) For any of the other classes I keep it on, it may change for Assault depending on whether I want to concentrate on being a Medic, but probably not. When I'm Assault I like being front line and Heavy, not running around.

I've always worn body armor up to this point because I have Assault fully unlocked. I may try not using it as Recon so I can get more knife kills up close since with the Zeller-H long range is taken care of. Working toward Support, which I'd use armor with.

I don't wear it when going on an apm spamming and knife whoring campaign
just like most other people, i only take it off when i'm recon. it's great for knifing with the active camo unlock. like others have said, they run out of sprint, but i can keep going to stab them in the face.
