So, they screwed up a bit. It'll get fixed, and probably be less buggy than the 7900 at the same time. But you know they'll just end up releasing some uber single-board, dual-GPU 8900 with 1024MB GDDR4.

That problem has already been fixed.

And yes I heard a rumor that the G80 refresh will be 65nm and carry GDDR4. It is also coming around the time of R600 so this could get interesting!

As for the dual-GPU, not anytime soon. These cards are so powerful they don't need a dual-GPU solution. The 7950GX2 was only produced so Nvidia could keep the crown of high performer. Actually I don't think these will come along at all...unless they are from an outside manufacturer. SLI will be able to use 3 cards in the near future. Also, these take up too many watts and put out too much heat to have 2 of them stuck together.
