I know this has been done many times for BF2 but with the change of handling for the helijet in BF2142 what do you consider to be the best control method?

Are the attack helijets easier to control with joystick or k/board and mouse?

Attack helis are definently keyboard and mouse. Plane, its really whatever, Joysticks can always do things a mouse cant, but there a bit difficult to get used to. Joysticks are just a hell of a lot more fun as well with planes

Yeah tanks for all the responses about flying jets with a joystick, but here's a heads up for you.... THERE ARE NO JETS IN BF2142!

Does anybody evn look to see what section the thread they're answering is in? Or even read the post?

Sorry to bump this post but nobody ever gave a decent answer and we've had a few weeks of solid retail play for people to form an opinion.

So, joystick or mouse & keybpard for flying the gunships?

I haven't played the retail version, but I used a joystick in the demo.

Keyboard and mouse i don't think the attack heli moves fast enough to need to use a joypad or joystick even.

what are you stupid, you think that its a REAL jet? the games not meant to be realistic.



keyboard + mouse is all you need. if you have a joystick try that out and see what you prefer.
however i like keyboard n mouse best

I use to be a Keyboard + Mouse user.
However, after getting adjusted to Joystick, I can't go back to Keyboard + Mouse for flying. I have lot more edge when it comes to out turning others, and I can provide a VERY steady throttle so that my gunner can have a GREAT time turkey shooting those down below.
