Nice guidance (IMHO) but poor damage.
Not so bad if you have a G5 and can decrease sensitivity but they do turn to fast and have to little range.
I have the standard sensitivity and im doing just fine. Hit tanks/apc everytime, transports 80% of the time and gunships around 40%.

It isn't the super weapon as in BF2, you all got spoiled and expect 1 hit kills on everything.
I find the TV missle way more controllable in 2142
The respose time of BF2 TV missles was always laggy for me (the time from when I clicked to when it started turning was always delayed, and doing large turns wasn't smooth like it is is now)
Only thing I don't like is the fact you can't rotate the missle turret before you launch.

Sooo true. I've lowered sensitivity on my in-game controls for aircraft and the thing still seems skittish as all sin; and even if I manage to hit them (I'd say half luck and half skill) I won't kill a tank in one hit. *Sniff* I miss my beautiful, precision killing TV missiles of the early 21st century; old-tech is old skool, and old skool rocks.
I like BF2's system better.
I've never actually witnessed anyone else, friend or foe, firing a tv guided missile. Perhaps I have been killed it but it doesn't strike as those big obviously remote controlled missiles we know and love.
I've hit Walkers with it, and occasionally a tank at close range- but most of the time it was luck. the problem is you tend to over compensate when you make a course correction.
