Right i want a G80 card, probably the GTS version as it's cheaper Will it be compatible with all pci-e mobo's or will i need a 1337 mobo?
You just need to have a 16x lane PCI-E slot for it as far as i am aware, oh and make sure you have enough juice to power it aswell, it recommends 400watts for one card.
Fuck it then, i'm gonna get one ASAP, i have a decent Hiperpower PSU at 530 watts, so no problems there and thanks for the reply +1 if you want it
Thanks dude, dont forget to post a pic when its up and running would love to see it! Im still debating whether to upgrade my 2 7800gts for one :?
You might want to check you've got enough room in your case - from what www.overclockers.co.uk says, the cards are longer than previous PCI-E cards. Total length = 275mm.
Here ya go a bit of copy and paste to put your mind at ease
This card is 275mm in length so make sure it fits in your case! Also the cards require PCI-E x16 slots, they will not function in a x8 slot so for SLi you need dual x16 mainboard. Finally 500W minimum for PSU and 600W+ is recommended.
