I was in a dune buggy last night doing about -1 miles per hour when a guy walked into me...............and died..........and punished me???????? Pls someone explain this to me.

........I hear ya. I've mentioned this before but I normally get in a tank with one of my buddies, we pull into a base, he has forward motion I jump out to do the hero bit I.E. cover his arse and he suddenly reverses and kills me, obviously I never punish him cos he's my mate what can I do. lol But the whole thing of people just running in front of moving traffic.............hang on I've had an idea. BF2 lollipop men and zebra crossings. Junctions and traffic lights......this could work.

Now the tkpunish system is a whole dif story, if u ask me its useless and it should be scrapped. It's intended as a tool for admins so they can spot deliberate tks easely and take action about it. Thats if the ppl that punish made a dif between an accidental tk and deliberate tk. It seems that most ppl feel all tks are deliberate so why not scrap the intire system cause its obviously not working like they intended. And u allways get -4 for a tk anyways.

If i get ran over by a team mate i never punish because most of the time it was my fault for running into the middle of the road.

Same here. I know when it's deliberate and when it was just an accident. If it was deliberate, then I absolutely will punish, but it is rare that it is deliberate.idiotofwar wrote:

it happens, but whats worse is the ones who wait for the sound of the tank/jeep/apc/plane, and decide its time to go for a stroll, finger on the page down key
My favorite collisions are the ones that come from things that shouldn't even cause you to explode. Like backing a jeep into a flag and exploding for no reason, or flying a jet through clear skies and just going "BOOM." It's those kinda things that make me jump since they're so damn unexpected.
