Do you play with crosshairs?

I tried to change the color of the crosshair to black and found out they were gone.

So I kept playing and found out the its a lot easyer to aim on the transports.
And noob tubing was a lot harder and I also found myself using the iron sight more.

So does anyone else play with crosshairs off?

i rarely shoot with them. but they are good for general aiming, where you can place your xhairs over your target before snapping into ironsights. turning them off would make it hard to do that.

I'm a good shot without crosshairs thanks to a year or so of Frag.Ops. No crosshairs in that game (i call it a game becuase it's earned game awards and been defined as its own game many times) unless you buy some sights.

No becasue I scope with every gun ( yes even the shotgun). I like when you scope becasue for me it's a lot easiar.

I have kind of the opposite problem. If you look at my profile you will notice that I have half-decent K/D ratios with most kits and weapons, except for Sniper and (logically) Sniper Rifle. Say what you want about my sniping ability (I concede I suck), but I think if I were given crosshairs when using my sniper rifle non-zoomed, I might be able to pull off a "no-scope" sniper kill every so often. In fact just for shits and giggles I played an entire round of Karkand as sniper...with a little piece of tape with a "+" on it on my screen. Sure enough, six no-scope sniper kills!

So yeah, I play with crosshairs. Maybe a little too much.

Uh hate to break your bubble but I find that tremendously hard to believe. Even if you were standing face to face and your tape crosshair was right on an enemy's head, there's still a very high chance that it'll hit that wall to your left.

Deviation without zooming in is impractical. There's no chance of it ever going straight without looking in a sniper rife's scope.

I apologize for that, now go have some pro-scope sniper rifle fun

best if you only use the cross hair up close and personal, that way you dont need the accuracy. for distance always use the site.

as for sniping without using the site, really only effective upclose and personal if u have tried to kill the guy with your pistol, run out of ammo and then shoot him with your riffle..

just my opinion.

I used to put tape on my moniter in CS and kill people no scoped w/ the auto-sniper LOL

But the best way to do that is take a piece of Play-Doe and put it where the crosshairs should be, the playdoe will give u a general area of like 1cm, most guns will hit in that range if ur not on full auto.
