BF2S Forums Need to unlock jackhammer,medic weapon to unlock second tier weapons?

Thats right! I've heard about people who get their tier two unlocks without the tier one, but this is just a fault by EA...

It really is FN2000 and i want both the jackhammer and the G36E. I dont have the L8 but if i rank up will i get 2 unlocks or just one.

yeah im confused, i heard this:

Lets use the G3A3 for example. if you have the G3, you can use it in SF.
You can also use the FN2000 in SF, but u must unlock it to use it in regular bf2,

The mp-7 and the g36e and stuff, you can use them in SF without having to unlock them, but you must unlock them by getting to a new rank to use them in vanilla Bf2.

Is this right? i got SF today so i dont want to screw up my unlock(s).

That is pretty much correct.  Certain teams in SF use certain guns so that you can use some of the "SF Unlock" guns before actually unlocking them.  Examples: G36E, F2000.
