I was wondering what settings could i play wit if i had 800 RAM on my comp?
Ultra mega super duper high. It'll be leet.
With 800 RAM, who the hell knows?
pretty good settings
lol 800 mb? I suggest getting at least 1.5 GB of ram. Right now, you can probably run BF2 at low settings and be alright..DaBombadier wrote:

ok what the hell is 800ram?
i got 768 and gotta use all low settings dont think 800 will do.
He means PC2-6400 / 800MHz RAM..
It's alright. I have some 5-5-5-12 800 RAM, it's pretty fast. 2GB CorsairXMS TwinX

You sure? Sounds to m lik he means 800mb. If its 800mb then youl be playing on all low settings
Or you could get some proper RAM like Geil or G.Skill and get 800Mhz 4-4-4-12 RAM that will overclock very well for far less than Corsair or OCZ sell their overpriced products.
800GB wow dident know thay made sticks that big
800 ram.. i assume you mean 800 mhz ram... and well it depends on how much you have.
plus its only partially responsible for being able to play at any given settings
if you want high textures/fast loading time id get at least 1 gig.. better 1.5-2 gigs.
it depends on cpu/ gpu too tho.

i got 2gb (DDR2 533MHZ) of ram and x1800xl and i still run medium/low settings... i dont care if it looks ugly... i want the frame rates to own people.. i dont care if i kill a giant square instead of a round "person"

even if you fit 8 gig of 1GHz ram, it'll still be shit if you use a 486 processor and a voodoo 3 graphics card...
What you want is at least a 3GHz processor, 2G of ram, and a decent G card. And if you want uber leet load times, buy 2 identical HD's and run them in Raid 0. The speed of the ram doesn't really make a lot of difference tbh

You get the confusion award.
The more RAM you got, the slower the RAM can be since it doesn't have to overwrite map information when having a higher capacity.
I got one gig of 533 RAM and that... well, it doesn't seem enough.
My advice:

This should work well for anybody - assuming his mainboard supports those specs.
