Does anyone know if they will ever make any more booster packs? Or have they stopped caring about us BF2 fans and gone only to BF2142.
lol We will be blessed if they dont give us another bugged patch and another booster pack LOL. They dont care about BF2 nor will they care about BF2142 once they shove an expansion pack and some booster packs down the BF2142 owners.
It needs to be free, or hit the shelves first because teenagers whine and bitch about credit cards.
I dont understand why EA would just leave BF2 in the closet, its literally their best game!
We'll know by the end of the year I expect. If they are going to continue supporting BF2 at all, we will get at least one more patch by then.
BF2 is very clsoe to golden, only a few more balance issues and bugs to be worked out and most of those are fixed in 2142. Seeing as they use the same engine, it shouldn't be hard to swap them over to BF2. If EA doesn't even put forth the effort to do that, we know we can't expect anything more for BF2 at all. That will send an even more important message to all the players as we would then know that EA will probably do the same with 2142 whenever EA come out with it's replacement, whenever that may be. If you know that the game you want to invest your time and money in may stop being supportted at any moment you will be less likely to buy it in the first place.
Personally, I expect that EA will be smart enough to give BF2 one more patch to show that they will continue at least marginal support for products that are still popular, but I wouldn't expect any new expansions. Just be happy that they are finally putting EF and AF out on disk.
