well, i finally got 2142. i took some time off from work so i didn't have the spare money to buy the game, but i got a paycheck, got the game, and played it for the first time tonight. after playing for a couple hours, i played as the commander for a round. literally ten seconds before the end of the round i got kicked as an admin decision for: stealing vehicles....... um, i hadn't moved the whole flipping round. i just commanded.

im glad to see that things haven't changed from bf2 and that 10 year old admins can still affect adults who play a perfectly legit round for a half hour, yet get their points wiped for the whole effort because somebody is pissed becuase they are about to lose. it disappoints me that EA will give anybody a ranked server. i know money is everything to them, but maybe restricting just a bit who can get a ranked server would be nice every now and then.

overall: good game, just a little let down that it took all of two hours to earn my first kick for doing nothing wrong. EA lets another fan down today........ get some rules for a ranked server and ill play it more often. otherwise, bf2 is still the best game imho.......

There are rules. If someone breaks them you can report them to BFROE, and they will take it up with the higher ups.

But for some reason no one likes BFROE or when you mention that ranked servers have rules. Everyone's in the "I paid for the game and/or ranked server! I'll do what I fucking want!" mindset.

Moving the titan once the shields down causes DRAMATIC lag. If the titans are too close together, it causes lag from all the pod drops back and forth, and the AA gun spammers. I mutiny every commander who moves the titan once the shields are down in a heartbeat. If we had a 2142 server right now, i'd kick everyone of them.

That being said that's all going to change with the next patch since you cant move the titan once the shields are down. I think it's going to be really funny when titans get stopped over a silo because the shields dropped, and the other commander can't do a thing about it.

Dex Luther, as far as I'm aware, the only purpose of the BFROE is to wipe people's stats. I have never heard of anyone's server getting shut down because of being reported to the BFROE and frankly, if EA wants certain rules in place they should damn well learn how to put them into the fucking game, rather than let a bunch of morons make their own little group to report people. A group of losers who just report people shouldn't have to exist in order to compensate for lazy game development.

Edit: I know that servers CAN be shut down for breaking the ROE, but i've never heard of it actually happening.
