I personally don't find it that hard to do fairly well in a round. I don't have to be concentrating super hard and try to listen for gunfire in the distance to triangulate enemy positions.....whatever. In most possible situations, I can get a positive K/D, decent teamwork, and often in top 10 of a 32 player team.

Depends on a few factors really, such as my mood. And I always play shit when im cold! Hands just dont react properly!
But I tend to find I need a round or 2 to warm up, but not all the time. I usually end up in the top 5 on our team in most games I play.

In the beginning I had a hard time (as this is my first online FPS), but now I don't have to do a lot of effort, except when flying a f35b against a J10, or a helo vs helo fight if you know the other gunner is awesome with his TV (which means you need to spot him first and hit him from the first time (or hope your gunner does)).
It comes and goes for me. I could be playing at over 200 score per hour, then for the next two be playing at 120 or something if I'm lucky. I tend to get higher scores on more infantry oriented maps than vehicle maps.

I look at it this way.....
Nobodys always good at BF2, we all have our off days, where no matter what we do, we die. You can spawn anywhere and magically theres a claymore waiting or some idiot with a PKM waiting for you to spawn. Even during play that 1 nade always managed to hit you, or the last arty shell somehow hits you.
The days where nobody revives you and your ready to break your mouse or throw your can of soda across the room. (yes im a soda freak).
We all have these days.....yet at the same time....
We have days where were the ****ing king of Bf2, and no matter who that guy is, hes dieing, not you, him.
The days where you consistently get gold medals and 100+ pt rounds, 4:1 KDR's every round and awesome SPM's.

i find i do allright most of the time but if i have a phone call i put it on speaker and actually do a lil better when my attention is split, guess its that i dont overconcentrate and back away a liuttle bit.
Some days i'm right on the money, other days none of my bullets seem to hit .
i play a lot of patch 1.12 with all the noobs, so practically every round im 60 and 1 in a jet, and it makes me feel big. then i go back to regular bf2 with people who actually have skills, and then i get my ass pounded in. talk about a reality check.
I never play well so I don't need to try much, do I?
For All That Voted For They Are Uber Leet Stfu About Half Of You Are That Good!
Theres days where you finish 40-6 on foot and just feel like a God... and the days you finish 10-10 on foot and could just about rage everything in your room into woodshipcs and twisted metal.... I like the former.
1 word - Aussault
Pubbies ar no problem, could do them with my eyes closed.
Clan players offer a challenge and the fact i couldnt hit an elephant from a mter right now, they are too hard.

i played the singleplayer for about 3 months before it came out, so i knew what i was doing before i even hit the online section. not to mention i was already playing Medal of Honour: Allied Assault: Spearhead online. (for those who dont know, that x-pack is directed towards bolt-action rifles only)
