Why do you not attack the titan?
They need a Titan attack pin (not the tumbler pin) but one just like the defense pin

Interesting point, there's a Titan Defender pin, but no Titan Attacker pin. I guess EA want you to get into the titan, blow it up and get out. Not just kick the living crap out of the occupants while the silos burn it down
This is a decent idea, maybe just get rid of the titan drop pin all together and add this. Padders eat the peanuts out of my sheeeit!!!
The defender pin is an incentive to help your team not lose. Defense is more a teamwork idea than attacking is. Keep in mind there are Titan attack/defend badges and the attack badge is by far harder than the defend is.

Defense does need an incentive. Nobody would otherwise, really. That being said, nobody would defend if nobody attacked, so I don't thin there's too much of a problem... then again, Titan battles lag horribly so I spend most of my time on Gibraltar, so perhaps the problem is worse than I remember...

I don't know about no one defending, it seems that in half the games I play in about 3/4 of my team goes and defends our titan as soon as it's shields go down. Needless to say, the other team generally dominates the silos and blows my team's titan to bits.
i realised that the only rounds i will be commander, my team will decide hey lets just not defend this round so kamikaze cant get the 2x, even though we are already ahead. but any other round that im not commander and im attacking instead, no one will help me attack and they are all defending. wtf.FrenziedAU wrote:

Thats the beauty of titan mode, there is no perfect strategy, if your team chooses to all defend, the silo's will rape you, if you all choose to attack, then you leave your titan open for a stealthy squad to get in and blow it up.FrenziedAU wrote:

The best idea I like is at the start, try and get a squad to each silo and get them to defend it 24/7 until the shields go down, then everyone rushes in and fucks the titan up.

So god damn true, I have the same problem. My team despite my insistence 'turtling only guarantees you will lose, they still defend...valliantly sometimes, but they refuse to attack. Of course, I try to set example by being a one-man-army (or if my squad isn't foolish, follow suit and help me out) and manage to cap a few silos at a time before the enemy team catches on and hunts my ass down...they hate me when I single-handedly do what my entire TEAM can't.FrenziedAU wrote:

Lead by example; if even one person follows suit and helps you out capping silos/sneaking onto the enemy titan for a counter-attack while they're occupied trying to blow up yours, you've made a difference in their mentality. And that's all that matters...making a difference.
Yep, same happens to me, either that, or the opposing team blows all the consoles in short order, and I become the sole core room defender, screaming for backup to protect the core.FrenziedAU wrote:
