I just started a 2142 ranked server and no one is getting credit for game play. I went on a few other server to see if the EA account server was being stupid again but got credit for the game play. In the BF2142CC it shows that it is [Ranked] and when u do a server search in game it comes up ranked. I have a support ticket in to my server host but in the mean time I thought I would see if u guys have heard of any problems. Thx

Is it new? It would probably take a while to get it working properly since EA master servers take a while to record stats.MSG*Delta wrote:

Yeah I started it probably 36 hours ago. I had a BF2 server from the same place and it work right away.??? I was hoping it was just being slow to update but it hasn't recorded any from the minute I started it. I had a game going 15 minutes after I got it as well. Hmm
i am having the same problem with our server, [TUF] House of Pwncakes.
is the server host Insomnia365/The Planet?
they are having issues with 200 IPs not being sent to gamespy. i was promised a fix on Monday, as all the swedes at DICE are afk for the weekend i guess... apparently they're the go-between or something.
the standard up-time for a new server is 3-5 buisness days, though normally it takes 1-2 buisness days. which are not holidays/weekends. so give it till tuesday to start worrying, imo.

and this is how the server thing goes: server host reports new IP to EA/DICE. they put it in their database. database is updated to gamespy servers, which are the ones that actually record points, etc., once a day.
here is where the issue apparently occured: EA/DICE updated their database, but the gamespy servers did not record any new info for that day. well, wait for tomorrow and itll update again right? wrong. gamespy only looks for servers added that day. and they are too lazy to do it any other way.
at least they were before 200 unsatisfied customers started bitchin on The Planet's forums. monday, itll all be solved and 1.5 weeks worth of credit added to our account. if not, im takin up MyIS on their 50% off offer....

Thx [TUF]Whiskey_Oktober I guess I will wait it out. Still haven't heard back which means they probably do not have an answer. Normally hear back within 30 minutes. Kind of sucks.
