Canada invades US!!

Who the hell do you think? I have no beef with Canada (Nice place) but seriously we'd kick their asses in a full-on invasion. After their initial success crossing the border, the airforce and air national gaurd would clean the house, as support units from Army Bases were brought up.

Most pathetic? I think not. We are fighting in Afghanistan are we not? We are able to take up arms, we have a real army, air force, and navy. It may be small, but it is not pathetic.

our navy is pathetic. our subs catch fire. we are using 30 year old helos..... our infantry can kick the rangers' asses in the ranger games tho.

There is a clear distinction between the superb calibre of our fighting men and the pathetic politicians who gutted their equipment over the past 30 years. Even with a little bit of new stuff they conducted Operation Medusa in Afghanistan which the British called "a textbook example of combined arms operations" which should be studied in future military colleges.

Just keep the Liberals out of power or else we'll be spending less GDP per capita than Lichtenstein again.

but seriously we have a small army but the conservatives are trying to modernize it a bit, which is already better than a few years ago. Anyway WE dont put a bigger part of our budget into defense than into health care and WE dont have huge depts because of the said defense.
