You just get in a boat, drive straight into a dam and switch seats and start repairing. EA isnt going to wipe your stats for getting 20 repair points so only noobs would consider it stat paddding and wont do it.farmerfez wrote:

I got mine by repairing the essex and Uav trailer on the Iron Gator. Took a couple tries but then finally the deck was getting raped enough for me to fix stuff.
Ohhh... or go on karkand at the MEC island thing and go pick any of those ramps and drive down half way switch back seat and repair
i find shootin the essex with guns,shotties etc, then repairin works, u get neg points for team vehicle damage, but u get repair points as well

Having players AFK(away from keyboard) is stats padding too IMHO. I got banned from a server when I relized that they the clan had stacked the teams with 3 or 4 AFK accounts to keep the server running. If you got stuck on the wrong side your fighting 7 players on 4 player and there is no chance of winning the round cause you have no support and you can't keep up with the number of times they kill the AFK players. To me just one player not involved in the fight can inbalance a server, but there are so may other things in the game that create bigger imbalaces(cough*J-10*cough) that most of the time it does not matter. Anyway my point is it does affect the course of the battle however small it is.

It does not help the team(just makes the boat un-avalible for the rest of the team) witch is the whole point of repair/heal/supply pts, you get them for helping the team. Ive found both Ghost Town and Gator to be good maps for it. Even though I havent got it yet....I hit 19 on Gator the other day just repairing the Essex gun continuously (you get repair points even if nobody is using it). Ghost Town as SAS, low rank spec ops always use the water and attempt to get your teams assets. I hit 17 repairs in a full 64man public server.
Warlord is also a good one for it (preferably as Insurgent), if you get someone who blows em up all the time - I hit 17 when I got my veteran badge there.
