i just went out and bought the x-530 speakers. and they seeeeeem to hiss quiet loud. when i shut down my computer and cut off the power(on power board) to the tower the hissing seems to stop.

does anyone know how i can fix this please, im not made of money so i cant go out and by better speakers.

please someone help me!!

I think that can be caused by a loose audio connection. Check that all the plugs are in all the way

all the connections are goood and still the static/hissing sound thanks for help though

I read up on it a bit and apparently they're kinda cheaply made so they tend to hiss when you turn the volume all the way up. Someone else posted this problem on the logitech support forums, and he said to plug the speak input into a MP3 player or walkman. If the problem persists, then it's the amplifier in the subwoofer. If it goes away, then the problem is in the sound card/mobo.
