Right, I'm looking at getting another 1GB of ram for my pc, (i upgraded to 2GB a few months back but my original 1GB sticks [2x512] packed in coincidently at the same time, so i was back to 1GB).

In my computer now i have 2x Samsung PC3200 DDR 512MB.

I have found 2 additional sticks which are "512MB Samsung PC3200 DDR400" which I am looking to buy.

My question is, will this new RAM be compatible with my current. I don't understand much about the speed RAM runs at but this is its information according to CPU-Z:

I think the new RAM will run at 400MHz?  (looking 'DDR400') but I'm not sure.

Even if is does run at this speed, don't all the sticks run at the speed of the slowest?

BASICALLY: will this new RAM work with my original?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It will work, clock speeds and CAS are factors, but you're not buying any type of faster RAM, You're still buying Value-RAM. I would say you're safe, if the RAM runs at different frequency's you wont be able to take advantage of the Dual Channel mode. But you're fine, just buy it and slap it in there.
