Has anyone noticed in the login screen, no matter if your password is 7 letters long, whenever you open the game, the login screen has the same 14 digit unknown password, yet it still logs in even though the password is not the same.
same with xfire.
it does that so that if someone tries to go on your account on your computer. they cnat get how many letters long the password is to narrow it down. silly password making peoples

thats acually a well good idea..........makes a lot of sense of now. i thought it was a bug.

Is it? I would expect the string of *'s to be as long as the max. password length.

it does it with most things that save ur pw apart from internet browsers

I think you type you PW in and it gets encrpyted so it appears longer then it is actually but as mentioned this it a protective measure to help stop people from stealing your PW locally.
