For sports fans:Dynasty? What makes one? Is this one?

Hey guys, if you dont know....NCAA National Soccer Tournaments are goin on now and I go to Messiah College. For those of you who dont know or have heard of the school, their soccer program is very successful. Lookin over past years schedule results and this years...and just seeing them sweep through the first two rounds of the tournament, i began to question and wonder what makes a dynasty, and is Messiah College Men's Soccer one?

I ask my roomates and they feel we already are, but i just remember when the New England Patriots were goin through these "Dynasty" claims a few year back. The Chicago Bulls were once, and how about the Los Angeles Lakers of late. Im just curious.

We have won 4 of the past 6 DIII National Championships, 2-Straight National Championships, have lost 2 games in 4 seasons...total (55+ games)

So my question is this that is up for debate and input: Is this a Dynasty? If not....what if we win our 3rd straight (5 of past 7) National Championship? What makes a Dynasty?

Im just curious to your guys input.

Soccer? eww. I think the vast majority of the people here that like that call it football.

Also, I don't know if college athletics has dynasties. I think they just say "they've got a good program."

yea i guess so....thats i guess part of the reason im asking....can a college program be considered a dynasty you know. I mean the accomplishments are undeniable no doubt....but can it be considered one...or is it like you said: "a good/great program"

I would definitely say that is a dynasty. Dominating for more than a few (2?) years is what I consider to be a dynasty. That being said, I don't think the Patriots were/are a dynasty, the Bulls were, as were the Lakers.

yea see i think it is too....4 in 6 years....2 straight....a winning streak that ended our last game of the season that amounted to over 55 games....i think it is....which is awesome to be part of...

lol...yea we def did....whats goin on man! lol....yea ive seen you around a bunch in that server now i think about it....which makes sense...it is a bf2s server.
