the key is to be patient and help her to possibly find the enjoyment that you have in gaming.

My girlfriend told me about what her friend did to her guy, he was into WoW!

She got so pissed that she ripped the keyboard from the PC and slammed it in the table!!!!
After that she was going for the monitor, but stopped in the middle and started to cry....
After a lot of negotiations they decided to let him have a gaming day once in the week when he can play as much as he like!! And it seems to work!!!

I´m having the same problem, but we now days have a deal!!

If she watches a TV show that I don´t like, I can play
If she goes visiting a friend, I can play.
Or if she is at work, I can play, but when she wants the quality time, she gets it!

It´s better than no gaming time at all...

That's the way it works with me too, I get up an hour earlier in the morning to play BF2 for an hour, let her sleep in on the weekend, try to get her to invite her friends over so that I can disappear.

The secret to any relationship is compromise (ie. making her happy)
