Hi Guys I'm having this small but anoing problem, with my windows media player here is my problem.

When I start up music it works great no problems what so ever, soon as I start video file in same windows media player my PC just freezes up and everything just runs really slow, I have to use task manager to close it down and even then it takes ages to close it.

Does anyone know the issue or has sum sort of fix for this please? as its really stressing me out.

I have tried Windows Media player 11 ( still same problem )
I have tried removing 11 and using 9 ( still same problem )
I have tried installing 10 but it seas my version of windows does not support this version of media player

So help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Peace Boris

Windows media player does not like using third party codecs... my advice is to ditch it and use VLC

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

this will play anything you throw at it and it does not use as many system resources as WMP...
