I've Been looking for a while now, and i can not seem to find a solution for my problem.

I downloaded bf2:SF from the EA website (yeah i know i should have got it from the store). it was patched to 1.12 before i tried to install. as tried to install i got:

so i deleted the whole program and started clean. installed. then i got the patch error, uninstalled again then reinstalled, and got the patch error, then i reinstalled tried SF  again got the patch error, i installed 1.03 and now im back to the Disc 1 error. any sort of input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

you probably already kmow this, but there's info on the ea website regarding problems with downloaded copies - did you try their suggestions?

i really didnt see anything on there, maybe i over looked something... ill go look again.

hmm... i just tried looking myself, but didn't find it - although my work's firewall keeps blocking stuff i try to access, so i couldn't check some things - basically, I know I saw a link an on an ea page relating to errors encountered by people downloading and trying to install SF. It is out there somewhere! i hope you find it.
