which tree should i go up next the shotgun or the lambert

If you find your self using RDX and/or APMs often, go for the lambert. The Clark 15 is good for titan attack/defend though. So what ever your playing style is. Though I must admit, I <3 the Clark.

im usualy like sniper, in bf2 i loved the pump shotty and the svd they are my favs, come to think of it lambert isnt a sniper rifle or shotgun, i think im goin shotgun, thx anyways

Lambert makes recon useable. go with it, and the rest of the tree is more interesting IMO.

Lambert isn't a Sniper Rifle, nor does it have the range to be a sniper rifle. It's more like the Carbines of BF2.JoeFriday wrote:

Recon, being THE most useless kit in the game, NEEDS the lambert to be any good in medium and CQ combat.
most useless? was spec ops useless in bf2? recon get the demo pack,also get the apm which is a bit different than the claymores from bf2, i havent seen any claymore spamming, you dont need to be directly in the battle to be useful. the only thing is you cant cap silos or flags, but you can cover team mates who are capping themstryyker wrote:

i dont even see whats so special about the zellar, all the sniper rifles seem the same to me, and the zellars scope is annoying as hell i have it unlocked but i never use it. also capping silos isnt the only offence in the game. i find a good spot in between where i can see my team and the other team and i snipe the people closest to my team, which in turn allows my team to push further forwards. its not the kit thats useless, its the people that use it.stryyker wrote:

well in titan i would say snipers are useless, thats where the lambert would come in handy, but i dont play titan mode to often it lags to muchLT.Victim wrote:

WTF are people calling Recon useless for?
Recon are often the key element class for taking down Titans, not to mention Armored vehicles like the Walker and the Tank.. (yes I realize that there's the Anti-Tank class for that too..)
Besides, as said; Snipers are there to kill enemy infantry, so that other classes can cap spawns..
And as for Snipers not to be able to defend a spawn; I seriously think that you haven't thought before saying that; A sniper can defend a spawn on any map from infantry.. If you're at 100 ft away from the spawn, and enemies try to siege it, they'll (most of the time) only scan the immediate area for enemies. The sniper can easily take them out with 1 shot when they're capping a Silo/Spawn Point..
And of course Recon class can put APMs / RDX at a Silo/Spawn Point to defend it from enemies who try to cap..

And in the Titan you'd see many many many more people getting knifed or raped in the hallways if Recons wouldn't defend their back! Those APMs/RDX packs at those vents cover your back while you're concentrating at the Cargo Bay/Corridors!
