I've decided to spoil myself and get digital cable from Comcast. As some of you may know, you can select a package with a premium channel (called the Silver package). I've only decided to pay for one movie channel, and I want to know what you guys feel the most well-rounded one is.

Which one has the best movies/newest movies/oldest movies/best series, etc.

Share your experiences plzkthx.

HBO had Oz, Sopranos, and usually alot of good comedian acts live. Iv'e had starz, thier movie list can lack during the daytime (YAY! Robocop 3!), showtime aint bad, but HBO wins IMO.

Starz has more channels, which is kind of nice.

HBO is good though. When I lived with my parents, they had both packages, so one made up where the other left off. As far as series, HBO wins hands down. New movies? HBO again. As far as variety is concerned.... Starz was pretty good.. except for the fact they play the shit out of a set of movies during a week, then rotate to something totally different.

Starz has much better movies than the other ones, but HBO and Showtime both have more / better series and pr0n.
