Two spaces after a period... what will people come up with next?! Apparently my young eyes still work well enough that one space is sufficient after a sentence.
This, interestingly enough reminds me of a funny story from an early English class in high school.
The day our first long-term paper was due we all handed in our assignments and the teacher was going over them in class while we did some in class assignment of some sort. Half way through grading the teacher stands up and asks one of the more ditsy girls in the class why she has put two spaces in between each and every word in her paper, and of course her reply was that the paper was to be double spaced!
