Exactly, I think like most people here, they should've left the BH guns like they were. Sure, they would take you out at the drop of a hat, but being an AT I became an expert at leading a smoking blackhawk and getting 6 kills at a time. Quite a few times I took gold on mashtuur blowing blackhawks out of the sky.

Ive never even seen an engineer in a BH repairing it....so that kinda shows how much the game has changed.
Unfortunatly, I started playing the game in April of this year, so I missed out on the BH glory days. Although, from a few of the vids Ive seen....damn!!
Now, the guns are useless if its moving. I dont think Ive ever been killed by a "minigun" from a moving BH.
But if its stationary on the ground, thats another matter. Its awesome Land the BH at the MEC gas station on Mashtuur and sit on the minigun mowing down any of the fuckers who spawn. And, you can actually take out an APC before it overheats if you hold the trigger. Very useful if you know about it
Its also great if you are commander of SAS on Ghost Town for defending your assets from those damn spec op faggots that come in via jetskis.
But it is most useful for mega base rape, either on a carrier or in an uncap such as the US base on FuShe.

i love getting in the black hawk. 2 gunners at either side can mow enemies down, a few engineers, support'men and medics can heal/repair/ammo-ize everyone / thing and it is very handy.
I love landing on people too, because 99% of the time they are killed and not critically wounded. It's also really armored. Two AA missiles and it only loses 2/3 health or so, and flares go back up really quickly.
It's always readily available too! Everyone at Wake Island hates it, which is why I always get it!

yha, the balckhawk can be great, one tip- put the engineers in the gunner seats. they'll still repair the chopper, plus, the support guys and medics can use their kits to aid those on the ground. as in, by chucking med packs/ammo packs out the side.
wow.. are your stats for real?samfink wrote:

lets just say i'm barely out of the Noob category. and I mean barely out of it.
You could do that thing with an engineer or two and resupply best in those little scout helicopters in AF. Have the pilot be support and a guy on the side as engineer. He could repair the helicopter and toss infinite grenades and mines. I was playing the other day and had a good pilot. I was throwing mines and grenades everywhere but at one point we were just slightly below two bars. I bust out my wrench and since we're on fire, we slowly lose health. But I was healing the helicopter as fast as we were losing health. So we went across the map without being shot at, a single bullet could've killed us, and we actually repaired. Luckily you don't run out of repair strength in a vehicle, I had like 4 repair points by the time we made it back to the helipad.
well, I just hope a Noob w/an M95 wasn't waiting for you on the helipad. and wouldn't tow engis help there? one deals with the damage loss, the other gets the chopper out of the fire zone. and then one keeps up the infinate nades while the other repairs the chopper.

I can kinda agree with them not allowing entire squads to capture flags without leaveing but it REALLY sucks that they made the minigun under powerd. Its pathetic how weak it is now.
