From what I can tell is the first Gen of all consoles suck and usually not worth buying..
360 FTW, Wii does look interesting, and for $250 US, not a bad deal. The games though will be a deciding factor in months to come.
Consoles do suck. After the N64 (Goldeneye FTW), consoles went downhill imo.
I'm not sure of my feelings of the Wii in the commericals there is way to much movement. I play games to sit and relax if I wantted to move I'd go play sports... Even though the games do look cool.

well, to be honest....i just played gears of war on my buddies 360 and man...now i must have one. Before that, i had no interest. bought the original xbox for ninja gaiden...hopefully there will be a sweet ps3 game...otherwise i can wait. Anyone else like that?

The cost of the PS3 for Sony is something about 800/850 U$S, so make your maths.
Cool thing about the 360 is it's hackable now. The PS3 may be but 360 games are already all over the newsgroups. The Sony was pushed back time and time again for different issues. Makes ya wonder.

Consider the perfomance and price of the PS3, you could easily buy a pc off dell with less performance at 2 or 3 times the price.

i was planing to wait in line all night long to buy one and sell it back on ebay and make profit.... so i finish school and go in front of the wal-mart... it is 6PM and the PS3 goes out friday at 8 am... so i go there and theirs peeps waiting there! so i ask them .... : for how long your here? they tell me till 2 pm !!!! so conclusion buying a PS3 in the frist day is very hard, peeps are freak and it piss me off because for it was 659.99$ CAN and on ebay the ps3 are going at 2000.00$ US !!! so i just lost about 1000$ profit but its okay ill wait till PS4 ????? looolll
Sony losing money per PS3 isn't that big a shock it happens with every console, its just Sony is losing much, BUT thats not where they make the huge profit, its the Game Developers that give Sony its share to make games, dont have a thorough explanation but yeah, plus the "Cell Broadband" CPU abuses other CPU's but its built strictly for console gaming, Nvidia's RSX 'intro' "RSX will be the most sophisticated graphics processor ever built, representing 1500 person-years of investment. When combined with Cell, it will provide an astounding two teraflops of floating point horsepower." wikipedia "Teraflop" if you dont know what it is, that with Blu-Ray disc format which can hold 25GB on a single layer disc and 50GB of space on a dual layer disc

is there a real reason why the games went up, so they are for the new consoles ie. 360 or ps3, and a real reason why blu ray or HD dvds have to be more expensive, I understand they have the name blu ray or HD dvd and they have more tech on the disc but all they are, are copies of the first orignal ???link52787 wrote:

Theres your justification, though at this moment in time it is still not clear if HD-DVD or Blu ray will be the next format, but considering that and the fact its more powerful than most peoples computers then it's a pretty stagering machine.
