I have a Vauxhall/Opel Astra and for some reason the right handside indicator is constantly on, a while ago it'd stick and then go off, but now its just constantly on and the only way to turn it off is by detaching the battery.

It doesn't seem like a major problem (obviously something is shorting or something) but I am taking it to the garage tomorrow but I'm seeing if BF2s can help me before I have to pay for help.

pic not my car but its the same model.

the switch inside the steering column, not a fun place to dig around if you're not too into that, is about the only place to look at. i assume you mean it's the turn signal and not the corner lamp itself. either way it's most likely the respective switch as even a failed flasher module needs power to flash, and can't get it without the switch. if you can get to it and feel confident in your skills, try disconnecting said switch tonight, if it quits then that means the wiring itself isn't shorted and there's a 99.9999% chance a new switch will take care of it.

neat car btw, we don't even get the same ford focus over here

Yeah thanks, I've already took out the stork from the steering wheel and took out the left indicator wire by accident, it worked fine then but as soon as I wired the left one back it went funny again, now it's completely stuck on constantly, even when i unplug it from the stork. I'll take it down to the garage in the morning and see what they say, but thanks anyway

I used to have the same car, great ride for what it costs.  It is probably something related with the fuse box or the relays.
