now i know its just clicking with knife on someone to get the kill... but i seem to often miss whereas other players seem to get me from like 1-2 meters aways sometimes.... so i was just wondering if there is a certian technique to using the knife efficently????
Don't walk backwords when someone is trying to knife you.

basically, think on the knife as a bullet that only travels 1 meter. So the best way to avoid the knife is to strafe. There is a short delay bewteen clicking the button and the knife actually "Firing" so if you strafe, they will miss most of the time. Jump a lot too. Also if you're sneaking, although I don't think it generally applies, its always good to be in the same position or lower to knife someone. SO if someone is standing, you can stand, crouch or prone to knife them, but if they are crouching, you shouldn't be standing. I think it will still work, but I think it is just harder. Also when going to knife someone, crouching as you reach them tends to make them miss a bit more.
