Sorry I'll get over it. I just found it highly unique and fun that a server would successfully enforce squadwork. And now it's dead. 23 people playing at 3:41 on a Saturday. Pre bf2142, I had to wait up to 30 minutes to get on the server(yes, I've already said that b4:/).

It kinda suprises me: Does ANYONE find it wrong to kill a great squadwork server? I know that's a little of a bit biased view agaisnt bf2142, but still. OMG TEH SQUADWORK.

yea, I'm already flushing my mind out of any negative preconceptions of bf2142(derived from the demo), in hope that "moving on" will pay off.

FullContactWar was on Patch 1.4 until around noon, it was nearly full until it was updated to 1.41. Let the (dumb)masses update and it'll be up and roaring again in a day at most.

yea I'm the only one I know irl that plays bf2. However, I've recently learned of one guy from my pastime q2 that is going bf2 soon. And another guy from there who's trying to get his bf2 working(he's west coast though). I hope to play with them in the future.

Sometimes I like lonewolving, and in line with what you've said, I like it when I'm just ownin the crap out of the other army rambo style. But for me, working with a squad the way I did on FULLCONTACTWAR(ie "Squadmate 1, watch your back, there's a sniper southeast of ya." "Roger that." _{and we do say roger that}) is just sooooo rich. I'll be checking out bf2142 if I hear good news about the teamwork community for that game. But for now I'll just remain aggrieved, hehe=]

Yea, but I've never needed to do that with fullcontactwar around. That's the only server I would play bf2 on, simply because it had all the teamwork I needed. But yea, I guess joining a squad would make me less reliant on a server that can go at any time=]

I think I might go bf2142. For the sake of finding higher standards of teamwork, even though bf2 owns it in everything else. Hell, would even own it teamwork wise if people were so inclined to squad up.

If anything 2142 is where all the people who just bought a battle field game go, leaving BF2 with all the people who aren't giving it up.
