Notice how there is an EIGHT straight rounds of the same players winning. EIGHT rounds.

PLEASE USE **RANDOM TEAMS**.

I don't like to lose freaking EIGHT times in a row. You know, in those leet infantry servers, where the MEC guys are camping in our UCB with nades? Yea, that's what I don't like.

AGAIN, **RANDOM TEAMS** PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

SET YOUR SERVERS ON RANDOM TEAMS.

I'm not sure I understand your point ... switching sides at the end of a round isn't intended to balance out strength, it is intended to give players exposure to both sides.

(If sides are randomized, sure it might help to balance strength, but then your friends/clan-mates might get separated ... and that's no fun).

trust me, no one in pubs plays using teamwork or squad-based teamwork. you're one of the guys who locks his squad, forcing newbies to go about the game on their own.

i'll do just fine without clanmates. i don't need them, i never will.

I'd like to see randomizing be mandatory. Only it takes players ranks and divides them.. Two Generals on a server? one on each side... Three majors? two on one side one on the other, and A Captain to fill that 4th major slot.

Rank doesn't ALWAYS dictate skill, but it does usually.

But, because of clans, The server should be able to recognize clan tags and auto place them on the same side.
You could always have variations on your clan tag, sorta like a football teams have different jerseys.

I do like being on the pwning team, but it isn't much of a challenge or fun.

good idea but clans might not always want to be on the same side, how would it know when not to keep them together?

For some kind of rank processing to occur I think there should be an slider bar option on the spawn screen to ask what side you PREFER to play, US or not, or alternate sides with a default option of dont care for those that dont choose, that way each round they could compare the preference bar with the current ranks and the last side played etc and work out a swap table as you suggest.

That way people that wanted to stay on one team might get to stay there and people that like alternating could maybe get that mostly but sometimes if you are a higher rank or one side is more popular then it would force a change from the dont cares upwards.

only reason I play is to hang out with buddies. when a server randomizes, I just wait and switch teams, or the guys I'm playing with wait and switch.

It's not my fault one team ends up with two colonels and two four star generals.

Was that our server?? I randomize teams, its not my fault your team is full of retards looking at white walls. I randomize them to get exposure to both groups, you dont want the same people in a J10, you dont want the same people as USMC, everyone likes to attack rather than defend, I dont get it.

Randomizing (if that is a word) teams does not always fix the issue. For example, if you are on Wake, and after the teams have be randomly selected, you still may be on the USMC. You can still lose. The purpose of switching sides is not to make the teams even, but to make the maps more even. If you play two rounds of Wake, and you play both sides, you chances of winning at least once is higher. Where as the first example, your odds are lower.

There are some maps where it makes sense to randomize the teams, rather then swap teams, but those maps are not played as much.

u getting to hang out with your buddies is not why servers exist. they exist so that individual players on the internet can have an enjoyable game.

u spend too much time with your buddies, ventrilo all day, bbs all day, cell phone ur buddies all day.....

Meh, almost everything has its place/uses. Sometimes, it makes sense having randomized teams but other times it doesn't...honestly I could care more or less as neither system is flawless and both ways of running servers(teamswap and randomized teams) can leave you on a horrible team.
