Hi, I'm new to the forums. I play bf2 but i have a crappy video card. i have a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 3.06GHZ with ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 series and all graphics on low, I wanted to overclock to see if I can run it with less lag, however I have no idea on how to overclock my graphics card. I know it's risky, but can anyone please provide me a guide on how to overclock this card. Thank you in advance.

Download ATI Tool.

Increase the clock speeds in small increments then test for artifacts. Once you get artifacts, lower the clock speeds a bit.

you wont get enough gain out of that card to see improvements. I suggest upgrading your system in the near future.

Are you running on a laptop?

From my experience with that card....I'm not aware of any way to overclock it.

It's unlikly you'd get any stable performance increase out of that. Isn't the x200 and on-board graphics chip? If it is I don't think it'll overclock at all coz theres no real cooling.

thanks for the answers, however i tried the ATI tool and when I click on "Find max Core" it freezes on 3 seconds. I guess I'll just have to get a new video card (someday...lol)

Hmmm I just over clocked my x1300 ( IT WAS FREE OK ) as it was barely playing 2142 on all low.  I tried the find max core and mine to did the exact same, freeze and I had to rebot.  Try doing it manually, increase by about 20%, I just did, went on for a game and I managed to get smooth steady gameplay 50fps+ on all medium (no shadows though or AA).  OVERCLOCKING FTW!
