If you look up a guy called Kamrion (or something like that) you will find pretty much the best setup you could hope to own.

I have a custom built by myself machine, in total I have invested about $3500 so far.  Here are the specs:
Asus p5n32-sli deluxe mobo
Pentium D 960 3.6ghz dual core cpu
2x Hitachi 160gb hard drives, 7200 rpm
Samsung 17 inch lcd monitor
2gb ddr2 memory
evga 7900gtx video card
and a full water cooling kit in the works, I just need to get the pumps and a few small items

I know it isn't absolutely top-of-the line, but it is very high end and does everything I could ever want it to do, as well as blow away benchmarks.
